Don’t crack the door for the devil,
or he’ll put his foot in the jam.

Elsewhere ain’t somethin’ that you know, it’s somethin’ that you feel. You feel it down in the pit of yer belly when you stare up into a starless night. When you close your eyes in the small hours and the dark thoughts come clawin’ in, that’s Elsewhere whisperin’ to you. It’s what your sins feed and where your nightmares are born. It’s that feelin’ of bein’ watched as you walk through the woods, when you’re standin’ at the edge of a cliff and somethin’ tells you, just one more step.

Scripture calls it Hell. Some so-called learned folk say it’s another dimension, or some sort of psychic such-and-such. Don’t fret none about what you call it, don’t ply your mind to comprehendin’ it, as it’ll start comprehendin’ you. Any that ruminate on it for too long gamble with more than their sanity, but their very sacred soul. All you really need ken is that Elsewhere ain’t friendly…and it ain’t from ‘round here.

Tales From Elsewhere Games

In the year 2000, a nerdy teenager from Los Angeles was visiting family in Wisconsin when he was introduced to tabletop roleplaying games. What followed was a lifelong passion for the hobby, culminating in the commitment to create his own stories and games and share them with the world.

Combining a love of storytelling, action, and visceral horror, Tales from Elsewhere Games' founder Peter Lange brought together his friends and fellow creatives to produce educational TTRPG content and engaging games.

The TFE Team

Peter Lange

creator & Lead Designer

Known as The Sheriff, Peter is addicted to reading, westerns, horror, and history. He takes a break from designing games to design other games — he just can’t stop!

Peter is the face of the company as well as its principal game designer.

Daniel weinell

Game designer & editor

Daniel is a storyteller with a love for playing and designing games. If you can't find him tinkering with a new game or story concept, he's probably off hiking in the woods.

Timothy Weinell

SOcial media manager

“Tim the Editor” is the guy behind each video, making them stand out and keeping Peter lookin’ good. Around here, Peter may be “The Sheriff,” but Tim is the one making sure he never misses his mark.
